About the Steam Case Study Database
The Steam Case Study Database was conceived by Christopher Russell, Industrial Programs Director for the
Alliance to Save Energy, and developed by the Alliance to Save Energy in cooperation with the U.S. Department of
Energy BestPractices Steam Program.
Robert Griffin at Enbridge Gas Distribution also provided summary reports of steam assessment audits conducted
at 66 different industrial and institutional facilities between 1997 and 2001.
